The first month of the year is the first and one of the biggest fiesta and festival of the city which use to be a lot of activities and competitions and shows but all of those are all gone thanks to this pandemic. We, biguenos, this is a big part of our lives yet we cannot celebrate in this amidst of the crisis.

            It is still better to cancel those planned activities for everyone’s safety yet it is still sad because this is one of the happiest event in our city, that is why there are some activities are now online.
            I still hope that even in this pandemic, we can still feel the spirit of the happiness of the festivals of our dear city and province.

January 1, 2021 is everyone’s new book and a start of a new chapter and by welcoming it with loud and bright fireworks and people making noise to welcome some brand new luck. It is like a tradition that every year we write down our “New Year Resolution” but we may or may not do it.
            I don’t want to just write down or say to others what my New Year Resolution is because I might end up forgetting it but this one thing I’m trying to change myself is to be able to cut off some toxic people and traits to my life. Those people and traits will just pull me down in my life and/or either end up manipulating it. This Pandemic also taught me that not all people are worth my trust and I should not have fallen to their traps so easy. It is okay to trust my guts because it can save me someday.
            New Year, New Book to write and some New Characters I might meet in my life but whatever happens I am ready.
